The BEAT Local Workshop took place in Frankfurt, Germany, on April 11, 2026, and was organized by the European Choral Association—in collaboration with its member organization, Deutsche Chorjugend—as part of the BEAT (Bringing Equality, Accessibility, and Togetherness) project.
Held during the annual Chorjugendtag gathering, the workshop brought together choir conductors and professionals who work with or are developing inclusive children’s and youth choirs. Throughout the day, participants shared experiences, explored practical approaches to fostering inclusion in choral singing, and discussed how to make music more accessible to everyone by creating welcoming environments where every young person has the opportunity to participate.
