BEAT project

The BEAT project stands for Bringing Equality, Accessibility, and Togetherness. It aims to harness the unique power of music and collective singing to support choir conductors, vocal leaders, and youth workers in creating more inclusive, accessible, and welcoming choir rehearsals for everyone, with a particular focus on young people with disabilities. Through shared musical experiences, BEAT promotes well-being, participation, and a sense of belonging.

BEAT is important because it encourages young people to actively engage in their communities, develop their creativity and confidence, and ensures that diversity and inclusion are at the heart of non-formal education, culture, and youth activities.
