The BEAT International Workshop took place in Palermo, Italy, from April 23 to 26, 2026, as part of the Erasmus+ project BEAT – Bringing Equality, Accessibility, and Togetherness.

Coordinated by the European Choral Association and organized by consortium partner ROCK10eLODE, the gathering brought together project partners, choir directors, vocal leaders, researchers, and professionals from across Europe specializing in inclusive choral singing. Over the course of four days, participants shared best practices, exchanged experiences, and collaborated to develop ideas, methodologies, and resources that will contribute to the creation of the BEAT Toolkit—a practical guide designed to support choir directors and organizations in developing choirs that are more inclusive, accessible, and welcoming to everyone.
